20 of the Most Overrated Things in Contemporary Life

Detailing Some of the Things in Modern Life that Are Far from What They are Cracked Up to Be

https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/proxy/AVvXsEjRBlllDXBzdyHlZXQ1nlyRkOnfV9ZP37WnqzfE5JmZtiIc86ro3AR_d5nZL_hsEg3wVvxa_3vvk_I_Nlb69TWg41XwiGJbM9xoinD6aRwOg57RiXxo3LD3OdtjUjgGJ7Jvps0i8N4_o0HnAo1LP-SCaDv5soQwzpz5ngTVEjopYkI4dJWlxw=

20) "Hot take" sports media

Why: Never has a group of media members become so famous for being so fickle (ex: Colin Cowherd, Toni Grossi).

19) Presidential elections in the United States

Why: Electoral colleges elect the president. Not voters. End of. Voting for the president is merely a nationwide suggestion box.

18) Mainstream Rap critics

Why: Many of their opinions on rappers and their music have been hopelessly corrupted by music industry politics and hypocritical nitpicking. When albums like The Pinkprint , Eternal Atake, Invasion of Privacy, Queen, and HNDRXX consistently get better reviews than 2014 Forest Hills Drive, The Minstrel Show, Redemption, You Only Live 2wice, or 4eva is a Mighty Long Time, one can't help but to question the authenticity of the writers themselves.

17) Baklava

Why: It's the mediocre, Mediterranean version of a brownie.

16) The movie "Mad Max: Fury Road"

Why: This movie gets a ton of undue praise for a film with a really shitty plot and almost useless female protagonists. You know which other movies have epic driving scenes and/or useful female protagonists and supporting actors? The Transporter. Ford vs. Ferrari. All of the female fighters in Kill Bill Vol. 1 & 2. All of the female characters in the Mission: Impossible, John Wick, and Fast and Furious movie franchises.

15) "Pure" Capitalism

Why: It's the wealthy stealing from and oppressing the poor, as evidenced by Blair Mountain, Banana Republics in Central America, and chattel slavery. Total bastardization of traditional hierarchies in tribes for over 99% of the existence of people on earth.

14) Communism/Socialism

Why: It's the state stealing from the wealthy whilst claiming to represent the oppressed. A fascist bastardization of natural communal/tribal organization that has been in place for over 99% of the time that people have existed here on earth. Oh yeah, and they end up killing a LOT of the people that they claim to fight for

13) Nationalism

Why: Like communism, it sends millions to an early grave under the guise of "love of country". Just look at Europe and Asia from 1800-1950.

12) Big pharma

Why: Most prescription/pharmaceutical drugs (90%) either don't heal the underlying causes for illness/unhealthy conditions, or if they do, they create a bunch of other unnecessary side effects.

11) Scientific materialism

Why: The orthodox/mainstream atheist narratives that a) all of humanity originated either from hominid African apes and/or Caucasian cavemen, b) that evolution is a linear process and is not cyclical, and c) that the 3D physical world is all there is to existence is patently false on all three of those claims.

10) Institutional religion

Why: It's the pediatric version of spiritual science. The movie Zeitgeist briefly touched on it regarding Christianity.

9) Most "environmentalism"

Why: We're more concerned about saving "endangered" animals and a "CO2 footprint" (that plants naturally feed off of, ironically) than we are about things that ACTUALLY fuck up the natural world, which is water pollution, deforestation, and sand mining.

8) Feminism

Why: It's the politically radical extremist wing of women's rights. Therefore, by its very nature, it is antagonistic towards males, no matter how virtuous you try to dress it up as. Besides, valuing and respecting women isn't difficult as long as you have an iota of self-respect and game.

7) Being labeled "Anti-Semitic" for questioning the Holocaust

Why: Was Adolf Hitler a notorious dictator and war-mongerer? Yup. Did the Nazis help kick off a giant war that was impossible for them to win? Yup. Were they racist? Correct. Did thousands Jewish people die as a result of WW2? Absolutely. Did they round up and kill millions of Jews in extermination camps during WW2? Hell no! For one, the infamous "6 million" number was in media circulation long before WW2. For two, many of the so-called "atrocities" that took place in the camps were a result of post-war propaganda, chief of them being the infamous "gas chambers disguised as shower rooms" narrative that has been paraded around without question.

6) Super shallow/Talentless "Bad bitches"

Why: Never has there been so much attention paid to such an unproductive part of society. Yes, feminine beauty and energy has always been a muse, but the key to unlocking that deeper power within women is in being useful BEYOND just looks.

5) Social media clout-chasing

Why: People do and say some of the dumbest shit imaginable just to stay relevant in the public eye, such as the Tide Pod challenge and faking the death of a loved one. It's not worth it.

4)  Afrocentricity in "Black" America

Why: Outside of the Afrocentric Hip-Hop music and studies on ancient spirituality, most Afrocentric culture for "Black" Americans is either extremely irrelevant (like boasting about the accomplishments of Mansa Musa) or inaccurate (like Kwanzaa and the Roots/African slavery narrative).

3) The "healthy" low-fat diet

Why: Despite decades of "research" presented to the public, the reality is that the lipid hypothesis in regards to nutrition is a bullshit lie that was essentially a half-century social experiment co-opted by federal nutrition guidelines. Contrary to popular believe, saturated fat in it of itself poses no real health risks, as long as it's from natural sources. And as for what has been exposed in documentaries, like Fat Head, That Sugar Film, and Carbloaded: A Cultrue Dying to Eat, it turns out that a diet that heavily consists of carbs from starch and sugar, not saturated fat, is what causes preventable heart disease.

2) "Black" leftist politics

Why: Most "Black" leftists/liberals CLAIM that they wanna fight for "Black" people, but when you move past their rhetoric, they splinter off into two major groups of clout-chasers within the "Black" left, which are:

-Those with a "ghetto" agenda: These are the people who are only really concerned with "advocating" for those "Blacks" that are impoverished. However, they don't wanna improve their condition as much as they wanna maintain it. These activists are either the dusty nigga enablers or they are the dusty niggas themselves that do shit to keep the "community" in a fucked up position. They're also the ones that are quick to accuse any "Black" person that isn't poor or extremely dysfunctional as not being ""Black" enough".

-Those with a gynocentric agenda: These are the people who constantly inject gender politics into everything dealing with "Black" issues, but it's only from a position of antagonism. For example, a lot of "Black" leftists (especially the women) claim that they're "fighting" for "Black" men "on the frontlines" by supporting Black Lives Matter, even though the founders said themselves that they did it ONLY for "Black" women, and not the men. They're also the ones that claim that "Black" sociopolitical discussions/movements  frequently "ignore" and "marginalize" "Black" women (i.e. intersectionality), even though a) most "Black" media and politics specifically target "Black" women (Ex: "Black girl magic", "Black" girls rock, BETHer, Madam Noire, etc.), b) most racist public policies aggressively target "Black" men more often, and c) there's not a very strong cultural push by "Black" men to take away the individual rights of "Black" women on any level. Overall, they only really care about the women and LGBTQOFWGKTAs within "Black" politics (especially if they are Marxists) and see themselves as totally separate from the men and children within "the community".

For both of these groups of clout-chasers within "Black" liberal/leftist politics, they loooove emotional reactions and doing public grandstanding. However, they are damn near allergic to taking any practical measures that "Black" people can take proactively/practically to overcome oppression (ex: don't call cops over petty domestic disputes; learn self-defense, always film cops during a stop, practice natural hair care and physical fitness, etc.), which is an obvious sign that they don't take their "fight" for "Black" people seriously in most cases.

and by far the MOST OVERRATED thing in modern life by a country mile is....

1) Chasing "White" validation

Why: It's the biggest waste of time one could possibly focus on in this life, especially as a "Black" person. One could go super in-depth as to why exactly it's a waste of time, but it's much simpler to summarize it. Basically, any "White"/non-"Black" person that one has to chase the approval/validation of for a baseline level of decency is one that is either extremely average, apathetic, or hostile.
