When I first created my Blog, I thought, as hard as I go in on whitey, it's inevitable that some whiteboi is gonna' start trolling my site. To my surprise, the troll I eventually picked up was not a white guy, but a Black woman who dated white men (or wanted to) exclusively.
But that turned out to be a blessing in disguise, cause it got my asking myself this question: If my Blog were to disappear tomorrow, what would I have regretted NOT doing most?
And the answer was, I would have regretted not aggrandizing Black men more.
Right then, I realized I had been too lenient when it came to talking about Black women's combative and condescending attitudes towards Black men, and I realized I hadn't spoken enough about how, in the Black community, the message Black men are bombarded with time and time again is, everything masculine is negative and everything feminine is positive. Especially in the Black church.
So I'm gonna' make sure I don't make that same mistake in the future.
And like I said previously, you have a lot of information our people need...and I'm glad you've decided that you'll continue to share it with us!
